The Site includes the fully restored 19th century historic Fort St. Catherine, which is located adjacent to the Site and is currently in use as a popular tourist destination. The Site is strategically situated to enjoy ocean views to the north, west, and east, and partial views of St. George’s to the south. The property rises in topography from the beach level in the north to its highest point of 114 feet above sea level at the central part of the site. The extensive coastline includes natural amenity points of interest such as Gates Bay Beach, Tobacco Bay, a turtle breeding ground, and some of the best snorkeling in Bermuda.
